Good but out of date
Found the guide useful and informative, but completely out of date on prices, and understandably centred on Sultanahmet. Information on ferries limited as I guess this changes a lot, but they and the trams such good value. New team routes being built as I write. Every ferry journey is special. Not sure I picked up on this from the book, but Topkapi Palace closed Tuesdays, and Blue Mosque internally hedging a lot of renovation so little to see. Found had restaurant guide ok, but, for example, there are numerous rooftop bars and restaurants, of varying quality, but....
Excellent short guide
Excellent guide. Informative and clear.
Great pocket guide!
I never bought a guide from Rough Guides before. I'm very happy i did.
In spite of being very small and a resume because it's a pocket guide it has all the essential information.
Furthermore is has a very good balance between text, history, maps, drawings and photos.
