I always start my reviews of Lonely Planet books by saying that "Lonely Planet" and "Rough Guide" guides are books I invariably go to. the broader book by them about Spain, almost demolished their reputation in my eyes, because it was too brief and breezy. This book was better, but not by much.

I imagine all Brits have a view of Ibiza as some party capital. The strength of this book is that it addresses the whole of the island, and comes up with things to do, if you're a party person, a family with kids, or an old aged pensioner. It doesn't just address the party places, but everywhere on the island.

The problem is that it still feels a little... brief. Using it we found things to do, but I feel that it was a little rushed if that makes sense. Maybe it's because I have been to Ibiza a number of times, and done a number of things there, it's just I was hoping for some new ideas, and didn't get any.
